High Standards on the TRAIL

As a newcomer to horses as well as the sport of endurance, I was beginning to
feel like I did'nt belong with the "SPIRIT" of most of these riders. Some of
the "experienced" endurance riders I have ridden with, (in order to gain more
knowledge.)....seem to ride untrained, out-of-control wrecks & ride worse
than I do! .
I keep taking lessons in the arena, and they keep telling me I'm wasting time
NOT conditioniing. They also seem to bark at me when I slow down to collect
my horse.
I AM SO GRATEFUL TO HEAR COMMENTS BY HEIDI & SUPERPAT. I am really
interested in having the most trained horse possible, going down the trail as
well as in the basecamp. I may even want to do a dressage test in a show
every now & then to test my skills.
Thank you for keeping the standards high, guys!
BON

PS: I am looking to purchase an arabian with these "high standards" if any
of you
know of one....I already have a younster....don't need another one,
thank-you.
