Darla lives in Dexter, Oregon and has over 9500 AERC miles to her credit. She won the 1991 North American Championship on her Hall of Fame horse, RT Muffin. This year she will represent the United States aboard her 11 year old, Grade, gelding, Rams Z who has over 4000 AERC miles. Many of those miles are Wins and BC's in record times.
Darla Westlake and MC Ramsz
RamsZ is a big pretty grade Arabian. He is a bay with a big blaze and a
bright look. He is 11 years old, we got him from Arleen Neale and Mark
Wood at Myrtle Creek, OR. He is Terry's horse and he rode him in rides
the first few years. He was PNER champion with Terry and then Terry
decided to give RamsZ a break and let me ride him! RamsZ has over 4000
miles. Terry and I have been married for 18 years and started going to
endurance rides with his brother's family before we were married. It
seems like we are old timers in endurance.
I have almost 10,000 endurance miles. A lot of them on RT Muffin, my 20
year old endurance horse hall of fame legend.
