ride camp etiquette

Ride camp etiquette, consider the following:

 

-stallion well away from mares if he tends to tease up.

-manure, hay after camp - rake out evenly, or take out (up to camp owner/manager)

-no barking dogs close by people

-warming up horse away from camp sites

-haul garbage out

-save the portopotty for its intended purpose, not as dressing room, esp. during critical minutes before ride, during vet checks.

-control horse socialbility at water trough - not all owners like horses saying howdy'do, not all horses like to talk w/strangers

 

mostly it is common sense.  and then there is trail etiquette.  'nother subject
