arthritis,etc.

I've used various oral flexion supplements for my gelding for a couple
of years now, and I do believe they've helped. I also used to use
Springtime's J-Flex (I still have some that I take myself, which helps
my sore elbow and wrist!), but have since switched to a product from
Equine America. It's less expensive. I ordered it from Jeffers
(1-800-JEFFERS). The main thing to keep in mind when shopping for it
when money is an issue -- and when is it not? -- is to check the
concentration. Something that costs half as much only saves money if
you don't have to feed that much more. So far the Equine America brand
has been the least expensive I've found. 3 horses are on a 20# bucket
(mine & 2 of a friend's) since last July and we haven't nearly used it
all.
