The amble is basically a "single foot" gait and most gaited horses will
amble.  By that I mean a broken lateral gait.  It is a very comfortable
gait to ride and some gaited horses can amble quite fast.  I have heard
that some Arabs will also do this gait - maybe the Raffles line, don't
remember.
