equine stomach ulcers

I have a client that has no access to the internet and asked me if I would
inquire for her.

She has a two year old, Palamino Quarter horse stallion that has just been
diagnosed with stomach ulcers. He has very high acidity levels in his
intestines. They just about lost him this last weekend. She has fed him on oat
hay. He has so far been shown in halter classes. They are planning on using him
for breeding. We are located in the South San Diego area of California. It
would be greatly appreciated if you could tell her what you have done in this
situation about feeding and giving supplements.
Thanks so much for any advice you can give to her. I will print out any
responses and give them to her.
