	This surely is not endurance related but I felt I should say something. 
Are you suggesting that cattle ranchers are responsible for horses going to
slaughter?  I AM directly involved in cattle ranching and live in a
ranching community.  I personally don't see how you can blame ranchers for
this.  What exactly is your point??  I have rescued several horses and I
don't see the connection at all.  Eating beef has absolutely nothing to do
with eating horses, we ranchers have enough trouble without this to add to
it!  Sorry for going off topic.
