Re: Redmond salt

Down here in the summer steam bath I put free choice loose salt in the stalls
so they can get it when they come in to eat. I first just put in plain old
Morton salt - maybe mixed with a little lite salt during the really hot times.
They ignored it. I was pretty certain they were not gettting enough from the
block. Someone gave me some Redmond salt - said they would eat it better. I
said, yea right its just salt, but told him I would try it. I be dog gone they
did. To my amazment all ate some and two of them ate lot of it.

So my conclusion is that they didn't read the lable that said it was just
salt. While I don't know why they ignored plain old table salt and went after
the Redmond salt, I am not going to fight success and I still use Redmond salt
in the stalls.
