Re: euthanasia



If the situation requires that a horse be shot, just make sure the shooter
knows how to do it correctly to kill the animal instantly.  We had an
incidence here a few years ago where a highway patrol officer tried to shoot
a bull with a broken leg, didn't know how and caused a great deal of
unnecessary pain before the animal finally bled to death.
