While the hunter/jumper crowd may sneer at the idea of Arabians in
competition, if you take a good look, there are a lot of purebred and
halfbred Arabs in the pony divisions. They just don't talk about it <G>.

And my late PB hunter more than once beat out TBs in hunter under saddle
classes. (He'd have done better over fences with a better rider...)

"Real" foxhunters, as opposed to the stylized imitators one sees in the
ring, have much less prejudice regarding breeds. A good field hunter is
respected, no matter where his parents came from.
