Hi Tom,

I can second what you are saying about which vet to pass the check.
It was last year in Dubai at the WEC. The german riders finished around
place 60 so most of the action in the central vet-check was over and
only few vets were in the trotting-area when the riders came in for 3rd,
4th and 5th VG. It clear very quickly that the vets on the side where
the US-team and the UAE-team had their shadow-areas, were deciding not
as strict as the vets on our side (for those of you not been there: it
was a huge area with a trot-out in the middle. You could enter this
trot-out from two sides.). So we went around the area to go to those
vets there - and the rest of our horses finished the race.
Not to say that it was a beauty contest at the WEC, but there are big
differences between the decisions of even world-class vets.

Just my opinion.
