endurance rides. Maybe once if I remember correctly. I got into a
discussion with the makers of "Endurall". She asked me what I fed at the
rides vs what she got at home. I fed the same foodstuffs with the exception
of carrots. Lots of carrots at the ride and just the occasional few at
home. She told me that it was the pantothenic acid in the carrots aiding in
the Krebs cycle. Could it have been the high sugar content in the carrots
also? After I quit using alfalfa hay and began using carrots as a usual
feed source the tying up was gone. I conditioned her the same.( Not an
everyday occurance due to time).
Also are carrots high in chromium picolinate? Food for thought/discussion
