We (whoever is on the board at a given time) can't
please everybody all of the time. Period. Except
for the office staff, AERC is run by volunteers
who are trying to do the right thing. I
really doubt if very many will be upset by the $5
donation, even if it is a misnomer. If it turns out to
be a major fiasco and we have pickets and riots 
outside the door, I suspect we'll try a different
approach next time. 

Personally - I was much more moved to reconsider
our decision by Roger's post than by the posts
that had exclamation marks and capital letters and
the same old accusations that AERC is evil. Do
you really think you guys are accomplishing anything
by your tirades???
