Slurs? Me? I'll have to correct my behavior instantly, especially in light of 
this genteel and refined academic appeal for civilized dialogue.

So sorry that you don't have the time to participate in this discussion--I'll 
try to keep you interested for as long as possible, though. At least I've got 
you pouring over the nutritional texts with a fine-toothed comb, now. By the 
time you graduate from my course, you'll know a lot more than your colleagues 
about equine nutrition. 

The final test, of course, is to get out in the field and try out your 
philosophies in the real world. I offer a PhD in What Works is Real. All you 
have to produce is a brief treatise on an innovative protocol that provides 
clearcut benefit to those competing (read 'trying to win") in performance 
horse events.
