RE: trucks

Title: RE: trucks

Heck - at 5000 miles Howard's engine (the truck, that it) isn't even broke in yet!

My '96 Dodge 2500 diesel has 75,000 miles on it - no mechanical problems & mileage similar to other folks' reports.  Were I to look again, I would definitely want another Dodge.  As good as the truck is & considering how long the engine is built to last, I may not be looking for a LONG while to come!

Linda

This truck is the best.  I've owned Fords, loved them, but the mileage was
awful.  I have a 99 Dodge 2500 diesel and can't say enough good things about
it.  It can pull anything.  I'm getting 19 mpg when I'm not trailering.  When
I haul two horses and a heavy steel three horse trailer the lowest it goes
down to is 14.5.  And this is doing 70 mph.  Haven't tried the big mountains
yet, but the hills in GA were nothing for this truck.  You gotta check it out
if you're looking.

cya,
Howard, with 5000 miles on the diesel (most made going to GA to a ride)
