Mustad nail shu

Just my experience - thought I was going to really like them, but turned
out on my particular horse (who travels close in front but never
interfered before) they were just thick enough that he hit himself in the
fetlocks, even though my farrier was careful to fit them close on the
inside. The farrier griped & groaned the whole time - obviously hated
them - but I have a different farrier now, so can't say how he'd like
them. The other thing I did not like was the bevel on the ground surface
of the heel of the shoe - the support just wasn't there. Initially, the
horse went well in them, with a nice spring in his stride ... until he
banged up his ankles. Anyone want a free pair of size ones??

Patty

PS - they are very slippery on ice
