I recommend the Dishwasher routine or the straight forward soap & water in the sink method.  A customer of mine that is pretty fastiduous used sudsy amonia on the brass and said it worked the best.  I haven't tried it yet, but plan to.  I figured if it pleased her that it might have some real possibilities.  I have a halter that I have used for 2 years without ever trying to clean the brass.  It should make a good victim.

Hey Fellow EnduroRiders,
Biothane tack has been advertised as washable in the washing machine...How does one go about doing that?  What does it do to the hardware?  And speaking of hardware (brass, metal...) Does anyone out there have a way to clean them a la natural way?
