RD-Actually that's what I paid for those. I guess it wasn't so bad. Was a
different farrier than I have now- last one disappeared-so I don't know cost
now. It took the last one 4-1/2 hours though & I'm sure that's much longer
than it should take! I guess I could have my husband put the screws in or
carbide on-tee hee   He'll be thrilled, he just LOVES (snicker, snicker) all
the horse projects I give him-He doesn't have one of his own & doesn't want
one-can't imagine why! Thanks for the input, what about when we warm back up-
if on rocky I tend to use the thin flexible pads(green) with the medicated
hoof packing-Any other suggestion so I don't have to use the full pad? Still a
little too tender on rocks to just toughen with iodine.-Diann
