ah, you ought to try riding up a trail and have a group of ladies coming
down at ya, yes, riding horses, and all had their umbrellas open!  this
happened in montecito, ca.

the other thing that has totally spoofed our guys when they were alive and
much younger was meeting backpackers with full packs -- nice square outline
with 'no heads'.  not fun on a narrow trail with 1,000 foot drop off.

and then, at Peachtree, behind Santa Barbara, riding with my friend one
day, the cows several hills over saw us --- and came up, over, down, up,
over, down the hills at a RUN to greet us.  connie's horse was used to
this, mine wasn't.  the ground vibrated, the 'thunder' got louder and
louder, and Bub's 14.1 kept getting taller and taller.  as they topped the
last hill and came into view he suddenly got quite short trying to figure
which way to go!

btw, Bub is the one that is in the water picture at my web page, shown at
age 24
