This might be true except for the "he" I was refering to is a stallion and 
the "she pinto" was a mare he pasture bred. He is not afraid of cows nor 
paints until I get on his back, then they are scarry monsters.

But another point, I have a gelding, the only one I have and he is very 
dominate. The  old mare is the only dominate over him and one young mare who 
"rules the world" (at least in her mind she does and Heidi knows which mare 
this is). But other than that he is "the man about the pasture". Which, by 
the way, he flaunts that to the stallions every chance he gets....
