Re: CTR

I wasn't trying to stifle meaningful dialogue but most of what I've seen in the
past involved some dissing of the other. They are two different and wonderful
disciplines of trail riding and each has it's pluses and minuses to different
people. I will have a new (green) horse ready for a CTR next Spring. In the
past I've managed to go off in the first group but I also know that isn't always
possible. My green gelding stands like a rock until he is told to go, but he
may get a little anxious at a bunch of other horses leaving. That is why we
ride in tight circles sometimes. I perconaly have no problem with controled
starts and if the horse is disciplined he or she won't either.
