while i like the woolback products i find the pads shed horribly in the
washer and dryer and when i comb them -- money down the drain and more
fiber from the comb to spin. i do not have this problem with the woolback
girths i've had, just the pads.

i have an oversized english shaped (straight down front so more like
dressage) Woolback pad that has been used very little if someone is
interested i'm open to offers.

i use an unshorn spring lamb sheep hide that has been processed to be
washable (i.e. hide is soft after washing) and its wonderful! no sheading
and all natural, use the hide side up to the saddle, wool side down to horse.
