Then why does there seem to be so many problems?  Maybe I'm just not seeing 
any of these problems that I read about on ridecamp because a lot of the 
rides I do don't offer limited distance rides.  Of course, in the West we 
view 25 mile rides as training rides and the head vet generally stresses 
that point, heck you guys are doing 50's faster than most of our 25's ride! <g>
