Re: RC: Re: extra help on trail

It's not that I HAD to ask...I would never deny my horse water (well, if
another horse were coughing and wheezing and leaking nasal fluids into it,
well....you DON'T have to ask!). But this is an interesting subject
(compared to some lately!) and I am really curious how people deal with the
issues elsewhere....I asked the question more to get people thinking than
because I really wanted to know. I am not that paranoid. But when
possible, we use our own buckets...I have yet to get used to other people
offering us water. It's a great feeling especially now that Jonathan WANTS
to stop and drink at every water bucket he sees, even if Nelson is in sight
200 feet away with HIS water bucket!! :) We use one of those big tubs
with the handles (some people use them as muck buckets) because there is
lots of room for the horse to get his head in and drink and even if both of
them (Jonathan and Max) want to drink together, they can. Sometimes they
drink better together (must be a guy thing....just kidding!!!).
So......... here's to water sources everywhere!!! :)
