These singing posts remind me of the Ft Valley ride last weekend.  Henry, the 
timekeeper, plays some really dorky, "coffee purcolating" song while driving 
around the field to wake everyone up at 5am.  I HATE getting up at 5am into 
the cold out of my warm sleeping bag, especially if I've forgotten to throw 
my riding clothes into the foot of the sleeping bag to warm up.  But that 
tune is so horrible it does the trick.
While tacking up the horses, another rider a few trailers down was 
absent-mindedly (I say absent mindedly to give her the benefit of the doubt 
:)))) singing that REALLY dorky song --- I had to chuckle, and suddenly it 
wasn't so bad to get up so early in the am.
