experienced vets

I have a problem with the idea they have for fixing the shortage of vets
at the Liberty Run ride. From what I've heard, they hope to hire a
couple of local vets to be there for the "peak time". First, they're
probably not that familiar with endurance, second, if they just pop in
when things are so busy that the others don't have time to give them
advice, they'll do more harm than good. I'd probably rather wait in line
for somebody who knows their stuff. All vets are not created equal.
