I have had big problems with "tennis elbow" .  I call it manure elbow,
comes from shoveling that stuff we're all familiar with.  My doctor sent
we to a physical therapist who used a new treatment developed at the
University of Indianna.  They use a special tool that looks like an ice
scraper to break up the scar tissue that has developed.  They work on
the outside of your arm and it takes 6 to 8 treatments.   I now this
sounds weird but it worked on both elbows.  You need to talk to a sports
medicine doctor and find a good physical therapist.
