Solar Water Heaters

I've just moved and don't have access to electricity for my water trough heaters
(actually, I don't have electricity at all, but that's another story).  We currently
run the hot wire with a 12 volt car battery and I'm wondering if anyone knows of
something similar or solar for keeping water from freezing.
