shoe pads



For those of you who pad their horses for a particularily rocky ride, do you
then have the shoer take them off when you get home, or do you leave them on
until the next shoeing?  Seems like taking shoes on and off would be hard on
the hooves, let alone draining the pocketbook.  On the other hand , leaving
pads on doesn't seem like such a great idea, either.  So, what works for
you?
