standing stall

RUSTY hoside4@AOL.COM
MY SISTER HAS A 37 YEAR OLD HORSE WHO UP UNTIL THIS YEAR WAS IN GOOD SHAPE. NOW HE HAS BEEN HAVING TROUBLE WHEN HE GET DOWN HE CAN't GET UP SOMETIMES.. THE VET SUGGESTED A STANDING STALL FOR NIGHT TIME SO HE COULD REST HIS LEGS WELL WE BUILT ONE HOOKED MINING BELT TO HEAVY CHAINS AND BUT THE BELT AROUND HIM.. THE NEXT MORNING HE HAD GOTTEN OUT OF THIS AND WAS LYING ON THE BARN FLOOR THIS TIME HE WAS ABLE TO GET UP BY HIMSELF.. SHOULD WE USE SOMETHING BESIDES MINING BELT OR SHOULD THE STALL BE NARROWER PLEASE REPLY SOON
