Hauling Truck Emissions

Hi Everyone,

Don't get too excited, but I'm looking at trucks again.
What I'd really like to do is just buy a diesel. However,
living here in California we are all so ecologically
conscientious and such things as diesel engines polute
so much more than even a gas V-10 that it occured to me
to ask y'all out there if anyone is hauling using
a "clean fuel" type truck... ie, propane or liquid
natural gas.

So, is anyone hauling using an alternative fuel truck?
How does that go? Would you do it again?

Anyone hauling with a big late model 460 V-10 gas engine?
Er, what kind of fuel mileage do you actually get?
(since the dealers aren't required to print that info
anymore) Are we talking 12 mpg? 10mpg? 8???

Thanks for your input and help!
