I've noted with the speedometer on my horse cart,
that my 8YO Arab gelding walks 3-4 MPH. He does
"Slow Trot" at 4 MPH, "Trot" at 7 MPH and "Fast
Trot" at 10 MPH....though we have registered 13 MPH
at a trot. Canter starts at 10 MPH and goes to 20 MPH.
We don't gallop with the cart (YET!) <G>!

I would guess that riding at a "Lope" is about 7MPH.
