With all the knowledge on this list, someone must have the answer:

What chemical will kill tapes?  And What time of year
to administer it?

There is a large discrepency out there in the literature regarding Pyrantel Pomate ( Strongid paste)
and whether ot it that chemical kills tapes FOR SURE. And  it appears that's
the only chemical that will kill tapeworm?
 
 (Pyrantel titrate is in Strongid C, and Strongid C does not claim to kill
tapeworm).


In Australia, there's a chemical used called Praziquantel (SP) under the
 brand name EQUIMAX, but it's not FDA
approved in the US. 

Just exactly what chemical DOES kill tapeworm in horses?
