Insurance-Liability

Hi Dyane,

I'm currently trying to get some specific insurance information for
Ridecamp but there are a couple of resources to help evaluate coverage
until it arrives:

1. BEST'S is an insurance rating company. It does financial reports on
insurance carriers and rates and ranks them on financial stability. We
use this tool a lot when investing in insurance products. Although it
does not address specific issues like equine coverage, it does provide
insight into the economic quality of the operation. Insurance does you
no good if the company is not around when you need them. Most people
don't realize that insurance companies do go under on occasion. Check
out: http://www.nemwil.com/ambest.html

2. I think our best source of information may be the independant agent
who specializes in equine coverage and has a lot of different products
available from which to choose. I've selected several from various
publications I receive and also some who provide coverage for some of
our national organizations and hope they will respond to my inquiries
with more information for us.

I'll keep you posted.

Joane White
