Specialized Saddles

Christian Love clove@lincpfp.com
I just received a letter and advertisement from Specialized Saddles. I currently own a Boz saddle. It has not made my horse's back sore at all, but the width (twist) is a little much for my small frame and having the stirrups so far forward throws my top half forward when posting and cantering. I talked to John about this and his explanation was for me to physically pull the stirrups back with my leg while cantering and trotting. I do not think HE has actually tried to do this for 50 or more miles! I have several years of dressage training under my belt and something tells me that my over-forward position is not JUST me.

The Specialized saddle has a choice of where to place your stirrups and looks like a well-crafted saddle, I also like the ability to change the pads under the saddle so that the same saddle will fit both of my completely different type horses, but I do not know anything else.

If you have any experience with this "Specialized Saddle" please let me know. My e-mail is clove@lincpfp.com
