Chicagoland Endurance Riders

I am a rider who would like to do endurance racing; I am presently without a horse of my own (Chicago is a little confining for stable accommodations!) and wondering if there is opportunity for me to begin to learn and compete despite this. Is anyone aware of resources, riders, groups near my area that would be helpful? Indiana is certainly an option. Any assistance or information offered will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
