But Teddy, to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever put a saddle on the
haunches of my mare! How I could ever get a cinch around her udder and
hindquarters is absolutely beyond me! <G> The ONE place she has no white
hairs is the area covered by the saddle, blanket, and cinch. No way this can
be due to them. Unless we have some wierd opposite effect going here. One
possible suggestion was a reaction to salt on her skin, but then she'd have
the same roaning effect around her face and ears or on her chest, and she
doesn't.  Still trying to figure it out.
