This may explain why my Paint/Quarter mare is doing so well in her training
to be an endurance horse. In just 12 riding lessons, she has learned to
extend her trot to match her Morgan friend and seems to really enjoy our
outings. I have no illusions as to being in the top 10, but she is staying
sound where my Arab cross couldn't. At least now maybe I can get back into
going to rides instead of just reading about them.
