A lot of that is adolescence. If it is diminishing, you are on the right
track.
You are right to be concerned about security so stallions don't get loose.
Although the one time I goofed and put a slip snap instead of a bullsnap on
my "rubber" (which he rubbed open while I slept and tiptoed off), he was
caught raiding groceries in another camp ("I like their flavor better, Mom.")
and the raidee brought him to the RM to see if he knew which horse it was.
The RM recognized him and brought him "home"--the rider who was being raided
had no clue that he was a stallion and was very startled when the RM told
him. Nonetheless, it didn't make me feel very good about my boo-boo. (Yeah,
for those of you who know him, that was Junior, also affectionately known as
"Hoover" because he is such a food vacuum.)
