Re: RC: Re: RE: Endurance and CTR

I rode my mule for several years and I don't know a way to keep them quit, they
can be quite vocal, again if you have a companion animal to take with you this
will help. My mules greatest ammusment was that when she would find a place
that suited her purposes she would roll and roll. It did not matter that she
was tied to the trailer, if the spot was right she would roll all night. Not
good for a good nights sleep in the camper that was attached to the horse
trailer. Helpful people would come up and tell me that my mule was rolling and
that perhaps she was colicing, my reply was that no she was just fine, she just
had found a great spot and loved to roll. On more than one occasion I took my
mule and my stallion to the same ride, the mule was a molly and the stallion was
in love with her. Of course every ride I took her on she was in heat, she was
so silly when in heat would stoop and squat at almost every horse that passed
us. She is now 19 years young, I don't endurance her any more, but she is a
delight, and one of the most intellengent animals that I have ever had the
pleasure to be around.
