Amber decided not to leave (at least that was the last phone message)
even though her in-laws were panicking & wanting to get out of town.
But I guess it was too late to work out a horse trailer (and thanks
again for all of you who offered help and advice - this is what the best
of the internet is about!) so when the storm was predicted to leave,
Amber emailed us & said that if the winds were "only" going to be 100
mph or less, she was going to stay.  For those of you who don't know
Amber, she's just 5' 1/2" tall in the flesh, but a mile tall when it
comes to determination.  Lif
