To Sandy re Fallis Saddle

Sandy the Fallis saddle I have is a close contact Western type that weighs about 22 lbs. I put plastic stirrups on it for my bad Knees and to make it lighter. I heard Fallis was making an endurance saddle but they don't show it on their website.I just e-mailed them to find out. Website is fallisbalancedride.com. My saddle looks a lot like the one on the history page. Looks like the stirrups are hung farther forward on the modern ones. I have owned 3 of them. The other 2 burned up with my old Chevy truck when we were headed to the Uvas Dam ride back in the early 70's. Anyway back in those days they were a top quality custom made saddle. Haven't seen the modern version. Maybe someone who has one will tell us about it. Karen
