Micki,

I couldn't have said it better myself...... very well put.  I am now a single 
mother (28).  My son and I both do Endurance Riding.... (including my mother; 
and my father before he passed away)... reckon it is in the blood.  And I 
must say my horses outlasted my marriage.  I was given the choose and would 
still do it again.  
Just my 2 cents.
