You and I will have to agree to disagree, then.  I want to see a horse that 
can keep the quality going throughout a significant quantity.  In this sport, 
they BOTH count.  

Furthermore, Les and Trilby used over 40 horses apiece in their great mileage 
"race."  That is not an issue in the National Championship. 

And Teddy, no one ever said life was fair.  We all have more opportunity or 
less opportunity to do various things.  We also choose our opportunities 
sometimes--I made a conscious effort to move here where there ARE lots of 
rides, as that was a priority to me.  I have lost out on many other things 
for that choice, but we can't always have it all.
