O.K. Guys,
  As Tevis does have its "aura" of accomplishment,  it really doesn't
compare to Outlaw or any of the other five day rides, after all they are
FIVE day rides, and each ride one or five day has it's special
"cliffhangers" and excitement, but you have to admit, it's like compareing
apples to oranges. They are both fruit, but taste different. We all have
our favorites, we are so fortunate that we have so much diversity in our
sport, the places , the terrain, the challenges are all different and a
little the same. I can't imagine competing in a horse sport that didn't
offer our wonderful companions and ourselves the variety we enjoy, it would
just be boring. Not everyone HAS to do Tevis, and not everyone HAS to do a
multiday. What we do HAVE to do is ENJOY them each in their own special
way, and thank the ride managers for providing them for us. Dru :-)
