I know when I was writing that first post to Michelle Rowe, I was
thinking of the correct way to term the "noise"......a harsh uh-huh was
the closest I could come....but "game show buzzer" is a much better
description.  Sounds like a bunch of us use the similar "voice" to let
our horses know we are displeased.  And yes, my cats, husband and child
all respond to that "noise"......~lol~

I assure you, judges like to hear that noise too, when a rider takes a
second or two to correct the horse rather than let it get away with bad
manners.
