saddle pads

I'm on a mission right now-to find the best saddle pad out there. By best I
mean the one that equalizes the pressure on the horse's back, that makes up
for a less than perfect saddle fit (please don't tell me to get my saddle
to fit perfectly! Perfectly fitting saddle is an oxymoron!). I have been
reading about Saddleright, EVAC pad, Skito pads and of course they all
sound like just the ticket. Since a good pad is not an inexpensive item, a
little advice/anecdotal pros and cons would be greatly appreciated. I ride
English if that makes any difference.

P.S. I've also been hearing some good things about ortho flex saddles. I
will eventually be in the market for a saddle as the one I'm using now is a
loaner. Any feedback on their U.K. Cross Country Jumper or their Cadence
RMM?
