Tevis Bogs
 I question whether this area is appropriate for construction such as you
describe.  For one thing, the whole side of that mountain looks like a
pretty good snow field to me.  The size of those bogs has to be determined
by the snow amount and the timing of the melt.  I have ridden through rain
forest in Oregon with trail construction to cross over boggy spots but to
me, that area did not look like a likely condidate. The degree of slope for
one thing.   Keep in mind I was only over it once and did not look it over
that carefully except to get through it!  Interesting thought though.
