Re: Wedge Pads, Where??

I've been using a reverse wedge pad for a saddle that's a
little too wide (while I search desperately for a saddle
that truly fits) and have had good luck with the Cashel
brand. They make one for English saddles (dressage or all
purpose) and State Line Tack carries it. Cashel also makes
it for Lane Fox saddles (saddle seat) and for Western
saddles, both of which are carried in the National Bridle
Shop catalog. I have the one for English saddles but I'm
going to get the one for Western, I think it'll be a little
easier to use with my Western saddle. I haven't had any
problems with it slipping, sliding or coming out and I've
gone on some long training rides with lots of steep ups and
downs. And it fixed the fit problem as well. State Line
has a web site
www.statelinetack.com
and their phone # 1-800-228-9208
National Bridle Shop # 1-800-251-3474
Both places will send a catalog.

Good luck with your saddle fitting,
SusanB
