Endurance Horse Prices 1999

>Guess the sport is growing in popularity thereby increasing demand. 1999
prices will create real "sticker stock".<

I know those prices you quoted seem high to the average person, but have
any of you considered how much $ it takes to get that horse to that age and
level of training? How many endurance people do you see breeding horses
for the sport? Not many. It takes too long. It costs too much. I tried
and would have been happy to just break even, but alas, year after year of
looseing money soon puts the breaks on the breeding. I wasn't breeding
dogs either, ie - Jeddi.

Jan, wishing now she had lots of Tut babies for sale. <G>
